9 South Ward

We are a 28‑bed ward specializing in hepatobiliary surgery (liver and pancreas) and lower GI surgery (intestines).

Visiting hours are from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Our field of expertise is broad and varied, ranging from major tumor surgery and radiofrequency ablations to smaller procedures such as cholecystectomies, appendectomies, and diagnostic assessments.

At the center of our nursing practice is the well‑being of our patients. Interdisciplinary collaboration between the various professional groups functions hand in hand, ensuring excellent quality of care for all patients. The ward’s processes are continuously adapted to the latest scientific standards, and concepts such as kinaesthetics, phyto‑aroma care, modern wound management, and advanced pain management are implemented.

The entire team of Ward 9 South works together with all its resources to support patients in achieving the fastest possible recovery.
