On our special ward Surgery 11 North, a highly trained interdisciplinary team of nurses and physicians takes care of the health and well-being of our special-class patients around the clock.
Our ward is located in Building 8 – Surgery, on the 11th floor North, and has 24 beds. These are divided among the disciplines of orthopaedics and traumatology as well as visceral, thoracic, and transplant surgery. The ward consists of 12 double rooms, which can be converted into single rooms. Every room offers a beautiful panoramic view over Innsbruck. Each room also has its own bathroom, free TV, and Wi-Fi. Our special-class patients additionally receive a complimentary daily newspaper with breakfast and an extra dessert and lemonade with lunch.
Each bed is equipped with a cockpit, allowing patients to immediately communicate their concerns to our nursing staff and service personnel via the patient call system, ensuring that pain medication and other needs are addressed without long waiting times.
